played out..... - When I first heard the beat to this song, I thought, Hmmm...This sounds familiar. I was right! From what I have read, it was in No Letting Go by Wayne Wonder and Get Busy by Sean Paul. As catchy as the beat is, Lumidee really doesn t have the talent to equate with the [moderately catchy] beat. It gets old mighty quickly, too. I remember when they used to play this song CONSTANTLY on the r&b stations out here. For starters, in my opinion, Lumidee can t really carry a tune, nor, do I think she has significant rapping skills. I can see why she didn t have too many hits after this one. Though, I would say that her version of She s Like the Wind is ear candy. That is due mostly to her collaboration with former Terror Squad team member, Tony Sunshine.
EXPLAINING THE CLAPPING THING - not 12 just dont got an account. anyways to everyone who said it was copied was right. its called the diwali riddim(rythymn) and MANY artists use it. so she is copying, but so do lots of people. it is the same beat as sean paul get busy and wayne wonder no letting go. who knows, she might have even had it first. this song was originally a street tune, so it could have been out for YEARS. its the same thing as the liquid riddim, which many artists have uses. so dont bust on lumidee, many have done it. its still a GREAT song anyway

LUMIDEE IS DA BOMB!!!! - Unlike other people who reviewed this product and didnt like it... I LOVE IT!!!! Lumidee didn t copy Sean Paul or Wayne Wonder (even though it sounds close to the same thing) the rythem(hand clapping) is a sample from another song, so dont say anything about her copying other artists unless you know the F-A-C-T-S!! Anyway Lumidee is a great singer/rapper she HAS the potential to out-run J.Lo or Ashanti or even Beyonce. Lumidee has a great voice as a singer and as a rapper so all you who say that she can t sing or rap needs to get their EAR S CHECKED. LUMIDEE ROCKS!!
